National Sorry Day and NAIDOC Week

National Sorry Day will be held around Australia on Saturday 26th May. NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Our school NAIDOC Week /Sorry Day celebrations will be held in Week 6.

Who?   All students K-6

When?   Wednesday 30th May 2012

What?  Wear something black, yellow and /or red. These are the colours of the aboriginal flag.

Bring a gold coin donation which will be sent to Ian Thorpe's "Fountain for Youth for Indigenous Australians."
